McDonald's Women Leadership Conference

I was so excited to be asked to photograph 80+ women for a Women's Leadership Conference for McDonald's Corporate. Local managers, directors, franchisees, gathered in Bethesda for some team building, leadership workshops, panel discussions and networking. As a take away, McDonald's wanted to gift their leaders with some head shots for professional and personal use.

We had two stations. I thought I'd show you the "casual" photo station. Simple really. The lobby already had a lovely, neutral wall covering and a cream colored club chair. We just utilized our environment to create some nice portraits of everyone. The other station was a simple grey background. Perfect for Linked In portraits.

The photo shoot lasted about 3 hours and the ladies were so lovely. I'm proud to help women grown and create their own professional brand of themselves. Having a portrait of yourself is really important when presenting yourself professionally, so I am proud to have helped!!

Washingtonian Bride & Groom Feature

I submitted Emily and Matthieu's October wedding at the Lincoln Cottage a couple months ago and Washingtonian agreed to publish it! Honestly, it is such an honor to have one of my favorite publications put you on their editorial calendar. Hayley Garrison Phillips also does an amazing job crafting couple's love stories!

Check out Emily and Matthieu's story on Washingtonian Bride & Groom!!

(Photo just because!)

Camryn

My friend, Miriam, asked me to do her daughter Camryn's hair for prom. Now, here's the kicker. I can't even do my own hair! But these two ladies put their trust in me, whereas I put my trust in bobby pins and hairspray. Anyway, let's talk about Camryn. She's off to the University of Maryland Honors College in the fall and they have gotten themselves a great gal. Truly.

We had time for a few prom photos with her boyfriend, Chris, and family. It was a gorgeous evening and I hope the Clarksburg HS Class of 2017 had a blast!
