PERSONAL PROJECT // FIRST DAY OF FIFTH GRADE

It was a great summer. Greydon enjoyed swim team and baseball and friends and vacation. He really did have a great time, but we could use one extra week of fun.

He still hasn’t figured out how to pick up the cat with him freaking out and chewing on his face. We moved his furniture around in his room so he has more space. He wanted leftover Chipotle for lunch and barely ate breakfast. Most importantly, he has missed Hota Kotb on the Today Show and was thrilled she was back from maternity leave. Seriously, this kid…

He’s been pretty excited to get back to school though. He missed the routine and also got assigned a teacher he really wanted. And to boot, two of his favorite friends are all in class together. I’m just excited that he’s excited!

“Gravitation cannot be held responsible for people falling in love. How on earth can you explain in terms of chemistry and physics so important a biological phenomenon as first love? Put your hand on a stove for a minute and it seems like an hour. Sit with that special girl for an hour and it seems like a minute. That's relativity.” - Albert Einstein

PERSONAL PROJECT // LAST DAY OF FOURTH GRADE

It’s summer!!! School and Greydon’s schedule can get a bit overwhelming for him, so bring on the pool and the last few baseball tournaments!

We have added a family member, too. His name is Captain Ruttiger von Meowington, but we call him Rudy. He’s brought a lot of laughs the past month and teeters on the side of bonkers. He’s a riot.

We ran to out this morning to grab his teacher a gift card. She’s loves to workout, so you can’t go wrong with LuLuLemon and a pack of Twizzlers.

HAPPY SUMMER!!
