New sneakers. New backpack. Fresh haircut. Masks on. It’s time for 7th grade.

Greydon awoke early without drama, which is saying a lot for him since he’s not a morning person. Showered and out the door to catch a bus…that never came. His buddy and neighbor, Grady, was also waiting for the bus. Pick up time came and went and we made the call to load the boys in the car and drive them to school. There’s a bus driver shortage for Montgomery County Public Schools, so first day logistics are going to be a bit scrambled. Regardless, it was fun for Greydon to have a friend along on the first day.

Greydon is getting older and has little patience for my First Day of School photo stories, but he survived. :-)
