PERSONAL PROJECT // LAST DAY OF SIXTH GRADE

Done, done, and done. Sixth grade is done. We could not not be prouder of this guy. Academically, Greydon has done stellar. Maybe a virtual model was good for him. Who knows how he will do in person full time, but this year he did a great job!

Things are returning to a little bit of normal. Fletcher has returned to the office in DC full time. He’s back to his 3 hour round-trip commute, 12 hour days and we miss him terribly; we miss the family time. Sadly his work has neglected to accept the work-from-home model or even a hybrid model and has reverted to their old ways.

I digress. The past 15 months have been wonderful for us as a family. The time spent together, though a little much at times, has shown us an appreciation that family and friends are the most important things we have in life.

This spring there has been baseball. So much baseball. Games and practice since April and it will continue this summer as G and his Clarksburg Keys 12U team head to Cooperstown, NY for a week-long tournament at the All Star Village. There are a few more tournaments his team will participate in before that, as well. He joined swim team again for conditioning, but we aren’t sure how many meets we’ll be able to attend because of, you guessed it, baseball.

I suppose this summer we’ll also have to move Greydon’s “school” out of the living room, so stay tuned for yet another reorg of his bedroom. Maybe we’ll finally get some things hung on the walls.

HAPPY SUMMER EVERYONE!!
